Notice is hereby given that Jimmy M. Cathey and Tammy S. Cathey, husband and wife, have filed a Petition in the District Court of Pittsburg County, Oklahoma, Case No. CV-2016-118, seeking to vacate and foreclose the absolute right to reopen the property described as follows: All of the alley that lies in Block 17 in the City of McAlester, now known as North McAlester, Pittsburg County, State of Oklahoma, lying between the East boundary line of said Main Street right-of-way and the West boundary line of Fifth Street right-of-way, and granting ownership to said property to the abutting owners, and to vest fee simple title to the vacated and foreclosed portion of said alley in the Petitioners who are the owners of all of the property abutting the alley. Notice is hereby given that the Petition will be presented to the Judge of the District Court of Pittsburg County, Oklahoma, at the Courthouse in McAlester, Oklahoma, on the 23rd day of November, 2016, at 9:00 oâclock a.m., and anyone interested in or claiming any interest or right in said alley may oppose and resist said Petition by filing a verified Answer showing the grounds thereof on or before November 1, 2016, and appear at said hearing.
